Pencil Drawing of Canton, Ohio: HOF, Palace, McKinley Monument
My latest pencil drawing is a large piece titled Canton Lives. The artwork was created partly in response to a Forbes Magazine article which placed my hometown on the Ten Fastest Dying Cities List. Needless to say, many of us who live and work here disagree with that!
The drawing features many well known Canton landmarks: The Football Hall of Fame, the Palace Theater, The Courthouse Tower, The McKinley Monument and Pegasus at the Canton Art Museum.

Winston turned out to be one of the greatest subjects I’ve had the honor to draw! He has an adorable expression, and such expressive/wonderful ears! This pet portrait in pencil was completed in January of 2010, and is now in the hands of it’s happy new owner.

I recently completed my latest home portrait in Pen & Ink. This drawing was truly a challenge as the house is actually almost completely hidden in the trees. The owners had to take many photos from a variety of angles and I had to piece them together into a final rendering. I love a challenge,
